  1. GS

This paper is just the right thickness and quality for my purposes. I need to print Europe train e-tickets and the instructions specify that A4 paper must be used. The quality of the print jobs was perfect on my inkjet.

Some people complain about the paper being thin. I did not notice any thinness at all. This is basically the same standard thickness as any other 8 1/2 x 11″ paper that you buy in the store. I think the complaints are mainly from those who want absolutely no see-through effect due to wanting to print double-sided. If you really have to print double sided, then you are going to have to buy a heavier ream and basically pay double. For printing single sided documents, this works just fine.

  2. King Chan

It’s amazing that there aren’t too many places that sell A4 which is used all over other than Canada and U.S. for legal documents. While pricey, this is exactly what I needed.

  3. goodol

compared to other products, this one’s price is a bit lower, but you have to admit that the paper quality is not high-end. i mean it’s not super thick or smooth or gross. but for family use, i think it’s a reasonable price choice. usually, i print coupons, recipes, personal documents with this, so i’m fine. but for business use, you might want to look for more decent ones.

al enviarlo en la caja no venia protegido y se rompio, se dañaron algunas hojas

  5. Seasun

Hey, its paper. Delivered on time, no problems

  6. Technaut

After reading many of the reviews including one where the person didn’t know the difference between A4 and Letter, I’m not sure what all the fuss is about. It’s paper people! Multi-purpose 20lb is not thick and 96 is pretty bright. We needed this to print international documents and it works great. As for the packaging, mine was delivered in mint condition.

If you are looking for good A4 paper at a great price, then this is your best choice on Amazon.

Did you know that the height-to-width ration of all ISO A paper is the square root of √2 (1.4142:1 ?

I love Hammermill quality! It’s a brand that I trust. The quality that they offer to customers has never let me down.

  8. Douglas E White

This is a good everyday paper with a smooth finish but do not expect it to present well for color laser printing. If you have ever used Hammermill Laserprint, this is NOT a close second. It came protected in a plastic bag and then boxed which I appreciate. A good product for the right purpose. The search continues.

  9. Amazon Customer

I know little to nothing about the differences in paper so take this review with a grain of salt. I do know this is about the only A4 sized paper that I could find in the United States. It is exactly what I needed for printing some diagrams with origins in the UK and it worked well in my HP printer. No spots or blemishes of any kind and the ink drys well enough. My printer can be sort of picky with types of paper but this hasn’t jammed either. If you need A4 paper, look no further!

  10. Amazon Customer

Finally a metric sized paper. USA and Canada are the only two countries that I know world wide that don’t use ISO Standard A4 size paper. I frequently get A4 sized documents in preparation for international meetings. Getting the footer or header chopped off is quite a nuisance. So glad to see that I can buy this size from Amazon. Quite hard to find otherwise mind you.

This was my first time buying Hammermill brand paper and I must say, I’ve had a good experience. I would definitely recommend it to someone else. The paper does not jam at all so it delivers on its promise that it’s “99.99% Jam Free”. The brightness as it says on the casing is a “96” , so that’s probably why the paper has this nice brightness effect, but nothing too over-bearing so don’t worry. It also has, as stated on the seal, “color lock technology, bolder blacks, vivid colors, faster drying” and it delivered on that promise as well on all 3 areas. I have not seen the ink smear once! I’m most impressed with the paper’s sturdiness though because it doesn’t seem like it bends or crumples as easily as other brands. The only thing I disliked was that it was “A4” sized paper instead of “8 and 1/2 by 11” but that was my fault for not observing the details. Nonetheless, I will purchase from this brand again.

  12. GetItWrite

This paper size is difficult (okay impossible!) to find on retail shelves so I was thrilled to find it available for next day shipping on Amazon. It is a bright white and arrived in good condition. I was happy with the purchase! You do need to ensure that you purchase the A4 size (if that is what you want!) and NOT the normal letter sized 8.5×11 copy paper.

  13. R. Man

I have to say this, so far, is exceeding my expectations! I wasn’t expecting allot out of this paper since it is a fairly light 20#. But since I’m in the US, and I needed some A4 I figured any port in a storm, right? So I pull out one single sheet and five different FP’s with 5 different nibs ranging from a fine to a 1.1 (which included a very wet broad) and of course five different inks (I’ll list them here in a bit), I wrote a sentence or two with each. I found absolutely no feathering whatsoever! That was rather a very pleasant surprise since I was expecting some because this is really nothing more than lightweight copy paper. I also noted somewhat quicker than normal drying times although I did not time them nor did I smear them. No bleed through, none, and very little show through, which again was a bit surprising. And also noted appropriate shading from the inks that should. As you can see, this was not a very intense test at all, just some writing with fountain pen and ink and I’m more than happy with the performance of this paper! It’s not Rhodia or Tomoe River mind you but then again, it doesn’t pretend to be. I’m guessing that because this is an international paper, there was some thought given to the use of fountain pen ink since you are far more likely to see their use in the European community as opposed to here in the States. I’m sure there is plenty of info out there on this paper, I didn’t look. I was just happy to have found some A4 that didn’t carry a ridiculous price, I just bought it on the spot. I’m glad I did.
    Oh yeah, the inks…
    Iroshizuku Shin-kai
    Iroshizuku Yama-budo
    Pilot Blue/Black
    J. Herbin Lierre-Sauvage
    Aurora Black
If anything, I was worried about the Aurora black which was put down with the wet broad (that sounds a little funny). That nib really lays it on thick and I love the Aurora inks, but it was perfect, I even checked the writing under magnification, and not even one wisp of feathering! I think I’ll buy a little more of this although I do not have a need for more at this point, but sometimes items on Amazon just disappear for no obvious reason. I’m sure I’ll have need for more in the distant future.
